Simple Question: Where did the Green New Deal come from?

Ok ok, I knew already.

While most people think it came from AOC, and Ed Markey the fact is that Howie Hawkins ran on the Green New Deal platform that he developed with help from other leftists(Green Party Folks) in his bid for New York governor back in 2010.

Yes folks it is a total Green Party thing, along with a lot of other progressive endeavors. Things like stopping the useless wars that continue at our expense, and make a bunch of billionaires richer, also at our expense.

Or how about medicare for all. Total Green party construct.

But back to the Green New deal. because it embodies so many important things we as Americans need it has been the basis of several politicians platforms. Jill Stein ran on a Green New Deal platform for president in both 2012, and 2016.

Bernie Sanders has used the idea extensively in his two bids for president.

Well I hope you are starting to understand what I am trying to say here.

The Green party is treated like an outlier by both the Democrats, and the Republicans. They do this so that you won’t vote for a Green candidate. It would take away their power, and money. They will say anything to make you think that your vote is wasted on a “Green”, but this could not be farther from the truth.

The Democrats and the Republicans will not give you the things you need. Things like

The Green new Deal

Medicare for all

Stop the wars

Debt free college

Women’s rights

BLM

LBGTQ Rights and equality

Workers rights

And so much more.

All the things the two corporate owned and oligarch controlled parties say they care about but do not.

Well actually they do care. They care about making sure you get none of it.

They are owned, and work for someone else. Not you and me.

The Green party is you and me.. It’s working people. It is a real party for us.

If you vote for the Green Party you are voting for all those things we need. You are voting for your own interests, not a billionaire’s.

Many people are saying we all need to vote for the forced candidate because we have to get rid of Trump; I say why wouldn’t we just vote for a real candidate and get rid of Trump. It’s a big finely honed propaganda machine that is telling you that you can’t do both. It is a lie. Your vote counts just as much when you vote for Howie Hawkins and Angela Walker as it does if you were to vote for those other ass hats.

The Green party is at the forefront of everything political in the USA, and many places around the world. It’s time to vote for something real.
