I understand that it is dangerous for you, and that this is no game.

I wrote a long response initially to your first comments to try to explain what I had been trying to say, but it started to sound like a rebuttal, or me trying to prove something. I drew a picture with words of a small town full of white people, and started trying to show how complex it could be to try to sort out the true haters from the ignorant.

The more I studied the picture I had drawn, the more I came to realize they were all racist, and probably not worth the time and energy to sort out.

And I feel that way all the time, because that is the town I live in.

Then I start to wonder if I am worth it. Is it going to be a help or a hindrance to achieving racial equality? I don't know the answer.

I firmly believe that justice needs to be served. I firmly believe we need to root out the true haters, and eliminate their influence one way or another. And I firmly believe that attacking ignorance is a logical way to start. Starting with my own.

Nobody is woke, especially not me. Everytime I feel tinges of ego coming on I know I am going the wrong direction. Thank you for writing truth, it seems to me people are listening to you.
